Introduction

The company requested the design of an application for working with a proprietary indicator that helps traders enter trades when specific factors align.

I had to improve the efficiency of user interaction with the application, making the management of the dense interface on mobile convenient, while access to important information and resources would be straightforward.

Pool of works

Started work with pre-project analysis. Based on it, hypotheses were formulated, some of which were adjusted during the work. Conducted interviews with experienced traders to detail their expectations and needs.

After the analysis, I moved on to prototyping. Based on the approved structure, I designed the interface and all screen states: skeleton, placeholder, loading, error, successful operation.

Main screen

The main screen of the application is a trade list with the primary currency pairs that the user has added to the watchlist.

Upon the first login, the user will automatically see a list of the 5 most popular instruments, which can be easily changed later.

Algo order:
These are automated trading orders that can be placed instantly based on pre-made templates, minimizing time delays.

In our case, they were developed for convenient and quick entry into trades upon the price reaching key levels on the chart.

Flow requirements:

Instant application of templates in conditions of market instability. For this, I added the choice of pre-configured orders

To improve ease of use, I positioned the control elements closer to the bottom of the page

I added hints for settings that may raise questions, without forcing the user to separately go to a tutorial or article
